Hi,
This is my first time here.
I had this problem last week with my Nexus One Android smartphone. I was browsing at leasetrader web site to take over car leases and everything was fine. I clicked on one link and it took me to a porno website. I have never gone to any porno sites and was really shocked and upset. I tried closing the browser, but it would return again. Then I erased my cache and shut down the phone and restarted it again, and that did the trick.
The only new application I downloaded was a QR code reader. I did some research online and found out that the program running the QR code is too small to have any malware, virus or adware. Is that true? I am very concerned about safety, actually I am over cautious when it comes to safety on my computer and smart phone. I have tried to replicate the incident to try and figure out what started this thing but could not. I know Android does have safety issue since apps can be introduced to the market without Google testing the apps like Apple does.
How can I make sure this thing does not happen again? I tried AVG Android version but it found nothing. I have not used the browser for several days now. Please help.
