Hi i am looking into getting a nexus phone. I saw that there is a nexus s unlocked on amazon. Will that phone work on TMO hspa+ ? I live in a hspa+ or 4g area I get between 5 and 7 mbps with the occasional burst into 13mbps at my house. If I buy that phone will it take advantage of those speeds? If not what is the most current nexus device that will work at 4g speeds? Is there even one? I currently have a g2x which is an amazing phone ( I was one of the lucky ones and got a perfect working phone with no bugs or screen bleed) The only reason I want to change phones is because I hear the nexus phones get the updates a little quicker because of the Google brand. I would really like to check out ICS. When I check out my TMO.com I dont see any nexus devices but I thought I heard that the nexus one was on the TMO and Att networks. I am sorry for all the dumb questions but I am still new to the smartphone world. The g2x is only my second smartphone. And before that I had a BB 2g curve. If anyone can shed some lightm I would apriciate it.
Also in your opinions would it be worth trying to trade my g2x for what ever nexus device works on 4g? Again my g2x does not suffer from any of the current issues that plauge the g2x name. I actually think that most of the g2x devices work just fine because I have a second one I bought just for parts and that one works perfectly also. So I have two g2xs that work perfectly. Kinda hard to think that I am the only person who buys g2xs in good condition. Anyway thats another thread. Thanks alot guys.
