@noahj1102 Whether or not the insurance is worth it is likely to be a personal judgment. Do you have a history of breaking phones?
That they do. Granted, a lot of them can be avoided by installing a case and/or screen protector. It's kind of up to you for what route you want to go.Not particularly. But accidents happen you know.

Google has a nice chart detailing some of the costs and rules associated with both Nexus Protect (for devices purchased from the Google Store) and Project Fi device protection (for devices purchased from Fi). They're similar, but not quite the same:

I've got a pretty good history of not destroying devices, so I didn't opt for insurance on my 6P. I did get insurance for the wife's 5X as she tends to be a bit rougher on her devices. Either route is valid; it's just up to you.![]()
For the Project Fi device protection, yes - assuming you purchased the device through Fi.Appreciate your time. I guess I just wanted someone to say, "yes, get it". Not sure what I expected, lol.
I've (knock on wood) never damaged a phone myself. But wow, I so love this phone so far that I'm considering getting the extra insurance. I've already thrown a case on it as well.
You have 30 days after purchase to buy insurance, correct?
