Help Nexus S 3G and Updating Issues

Hi guys I'm new to forums so bear with me. I have had the gsm nexus s that I use on t mobile for quite a long time. Ever since I bought it won't connect to 3G and is also stuck on 2.3.4 and wont update, and now that I hear it's getting Jellybean im starting to get a bit annoyed. Here's the "About phone"

model: nexus s
android version: 2.3.4
Baseband version: I9020AUCKE1
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-ge382d80 android-build@apa28 #1
build number: GTJ61

It'll explain how to update your phone manually. You've got the I9020A (aka the AT&T version), so I'm assuming you're on AT&T or possibly Telus or one of those. If you aren't, that would explain why you're not getting 3G data. I do seem to remember people talking about connectivity issues with the I9020A, though, so updating it could very well fix your problems.
