Hello, just joined, I've gotten a lot of info from this site before.
I have a question though, hope someone can help. A few months ago, i broke my Nexus S 4G lcd screen, my fault. I got a used phone and activated it (its a crappy Samsung Replinish, blah!) but I want to get my pics off of the old one. I looked into all the options of using a pc and software to get them off, but i didnt enable debugging mode and it wont enable mass storage without answering the screen prompt.
I DID however find a guy selling a Nexus here locally on craigslist wants $65 for it. I plan to get it to swap screens and get, my stuff off it.
What Im wondering is, since the esn # is on the plastic underneath the battery, which is part of the screen, and i swap the good screen, would the old esn still be whats needed to register the phone? (sprint)
I was wondering because it would be nice to have my nexus back.
Thanks for any help.
