Nexus S Front Camera & Fring

So the FFC on this thing will allow video chatting im assuming.
I've heard Fring will let you video chat cross platform / cross devices but haven't been able to verify. Anyone using Fring for Android to talk to friends on IPhone 4?

There are currently no video chat apps that support the Nexus S and its FFC. Very disappointed in Google for releasing it without any app supporting video chat. Apparently Google Talk will support video capabilities to be released with Honeycomb..... That's at least February.

Yes, the apps need updates to support the FFC. Trust me, all the most popular apps developers, i.e. Fring, Qik, Yahoo, Tango, have been contacted and they are hard at work to get it to work with the Nexus S. Until then we just have to wait. Shame on Google and Samsung for not having this resolved prior to rolling out this "pure" Google phone.

I just bought my nexus s and was going to try out the front facing camera with yahoo video chat. I was disappointed to find out it did not work however the back camera does work. So I am assuming basically we have to wait for another yahoo messenger update to support the nexus s?

That is correct. I check for updates a few times a day and will be sure to post once I find an app that will work with the Nexus S FFC.
