Nexus S on Cincinnati Bell

Cincinnati Bell has picked up the Nexus S(3g version) and has it on their website for $300 without a contract. Does anybody know which model# or any info about this? Which model# is better? I see from reading around on here a bit that there are different ones. Any advice on getting this phone? I know it's been out for awhile, but I've always liked the Nexus s. Thanks for any replies.

If the listed UMTS frequencies are to be believed as well as the claim to an AMOLED screen, it's the I9020T, compatible with T-Mobile's 3G network and most of Europe's 3G network as well.

Do they allow these Nexus phones to be locked to a carrier? If I get one and I don't get good service from Cincinnati Bell, could I put a T-Mobile sim in there and use it?

I can't say with 100% certainty, but it's a pretty safe bet that it is carrier unlocked. As of yet, I've never heard of a Nexus S that was carrier locked.
