paypal asked him for a shipping proof and he sent it to them (fking liar, I e-mailed USPS and they told me he never shipped it)
now the claim status is "waiting for you action" (or something like that, my paypal is not in english), then I press the "answer" button but I can't send an answer

In your response say item never was delivered. If he provided paypal the tracking number that he never used to ship it, then it should show item not shipped or received and it wouldn' show as being delivered to your address which he needs to do to win the paypal claim from my understanding.

Called paypal before the claim was solved? I will call brazillian paypal.. I doubt they can solve it, but I will try as I can't call to the american one.

Things like this are so sad to see, the scammers taking innocent money from respectable members who try to make the market a successful and trustworthy place...

However i do like to see the situations like these play out, kind of like a soap opera of the geek world...

sorry to see that this isn't resolved and wish good luck with getting your money back.

Soap opera of the geek world?

With a little luck EVERYONE will get their money back.

I hate to see things like this and it's why I'm leary about buying anything that I can't put my hands on and touch. With that being said tho I too hope that everybody gets their money back.

This looks bad for those of us who enjoy online trading and treat our customers well... Im hoping the trade system here is being looked into since we have had some discussion on it...

Its obviously clear once you've seen the price tag of $200 you know somethings not right. Its just common sense. I been a memeber on ebay for more than a decade and seen stuff like this happen...

Just my 2c....
