NFC For Galaxy S II In the Philippines

Hi S II owners!

I'm new to this site and a new S II owner. So far, my S II has been performing very well, great photos and videos, snappy processor and great AMOLED screen. I was an iOS fan before and will never go back after experiencing how great Android is. I bought mine here in the Philippines with a 2 year lock in With Globe Telecom and was just wondering if it has NFC in it. Thanks and it's great to be part of this forum. Cheers!

I don't think any Galaxy S2 models have NFC yet but don't quote me on that.

I have heard that SIM cards with NFC capabilities are in the pipeline, so don't worry if it's not built into the phone itself

Thanks for the prompt reply! NFC is not that common in my country yet and I think it is a great technology. Now that you mentioned that It'll be available via SIM cards, then I just have to wait. Thanks again mate! Cheers!
