Help NFC on motion?

I'm on mobile so I can't elaborate too much (I'll add more info when I get home if necessary) but under the hidden menu I see options for NFC... maybe with a firmware update this could be enabled? Just a thought.

I don't think the motion has the hardware for that.

However I do remember that if you're on the cm10 rom (not sure about AOKP) if you go to settings it has options to turn on NFC and use Android Beam

I tried turning them on and no luck.

I'm just curious as to why it would be in the hidden menus if it doesn't have the hardware to go along with it. Has anyone done a tear down of the motion?

i think the android files we have are compatible other phones as well. sorta generic operating system. We seem to have alot of files for things not enabled. Sorta like i found PITT PATT files on my phone. Seems thats facial recogniton software
