NFC

From what I can gather, the Moto X doesn't have NFC. I know with Verizon one can get an NFC SIM to use the ISIS payments system. I actually use my NFC on my Galaxy Nexus via NFC Task Launcher. Will a NFC SIM work the same way?

Moto X does have NFC. Check this article out.

It isn't listed in the specs portion of Motorola's website.

Moto is not know for their accuracy on their website. They still have the droid Maxx listed as the ultra maxx in spots.

I also see Verizon has a discloser about NFC and ISIS on the moto x specs page but they don't have it listed in the specs it self.

I can also verify that it has NFC. I have user an nfc tag at work to check me in on Foursquare, turn on Wifi, and open Skype.

I see Skip advertised as a (IMO very cool) accessory. It uses NFC to unlock the phone. So the X does have some semblance of NFC, yes

What type of tags are you using? I want to get some, but would rather be sure they are compatible with the X. It would be nice to have one at work to turn off my ringer and change a couple other settings. Maybe one in the car too.

I use some Samsung TecTiles that I bought when I had my Note 2, and I also use the keychain NFC tags by AndyTags.
