As I was seeing on the TV alot more companies are saying hit ** and a shortcode to download their app from their smartphone. Any ideas on where this can be accomplished or anything like this?

That's a Network/Carrier thing. You'd have to make a deal with Verizon or whomever to get that kind of number.

There are text message services that you can use as an alternative though.

Basically like "text cool to 12345 for your chance to win a playstation" or whatever.

The service can then respond with a text with a market link. I dont remember the names of them off the top of my head though, you'd have to google search for them
