nice launcher without dock

is there a launcher worth trying out there that let me remove the dock?
I really dont know if the dock is good for anything, its just annoying for me that i have to have the same apps showing up on every screen and take screenspace away from my widgets

Use ADW Launcher and use the close dock option.
But you will have to either use
A.)App drawer shortcut on screen
B.)Define a swipe action for opening App drawer .

You can also use swipe action to hide the dockbar
You can use the space vacated by dockbar to place icons.
You cant use the screen space for Widgets

OR

Use Launcher 7 but you will be limited to only one vertical scrollable screen

It doesn't take screen space from your widgets without the dock you still can't use that area for icons or widgets
