Night Mode (display wise)

Do you know if there is a night mode on the Motorola Droid. I find the phone screen to be very bright at night. I am thinking about something like the GPS do, White backgrounds during the day, black at night etc etc. Any ideas on how to do this? I have lowered the brightness all the way down but that is still too bright!

Any ideas, suggestions?

Cool! I will defenitly use that app. However, once you go back to the menus its normal colors/brightness. I think I might need a theme.

I used BedSide which dims the phone and displays a digital clock whenever I plug it into power..

Do you have it set to auto brightness? You can change that to manual in Settings/ Sound and Display/Brightness. You can then adjust it to the level you want.
