DOnt have to be old to get a stone. I knew a kid 16 that got them. I have heard some of it is from not enough fluids. True or not I dont know I am 39 and never had one and hope I never do knock on wood (well dans head lol).

If they are due to dietary reasons then yes, usually it will occur when you are a bit older.
Sometimes though its caused by other reasons, such as your body overproducing calcium. (which is what happened to me - and I had to have surgery at 26 to remove one of my para-thyroid glands)
