Night Owls Club-grab some coffee

12.15am...


Fly to Beijing tomorrow(actually it's today now), spending a week there on business, wondering what to do during any spare time, already done all the obvious touristy things last time I was there, Forbidden City, etc. don't tend to sleep much before travelling.
 
Taking a lunch break. Gotta love when your line screws up and the supervisor blames you. After all can't yell at the machine. Glad when i get off in the morning its 4 days off.
 
Well had a pretty interesting night so far....well I did at first....termed a lady, had to call cops on said lady, and all kinds of other drama filled situations....this is why you don't sleep with people you work with.

Sitting here packed ready to take a train at 330am to big apple.... train got delayed 3 HOURS!!!!!! God i'm so tired... (dont have to go back to work till monday though:D)

You are a machinist? I run grinders. I am at work right now. Just had lunch. Back to the the grind... literally:) c u all in about 4 hours.
 
Well good morning. Off from work and got a busy day ahead of me.

1. Call realtor about house for sale on corner.
2. Call At&t and tell them to suck it.
3. Call Comcast and hook up cable internet, phone, and tv.
4. Reformat Computer.
5. Hook up new GPU when it gets here today (woot!)
6. Drink Coffee
7. Play Mass Effect 2
8. Watch Dexter with the wife.
9. Pass out in a coma for 10 hours as I should be sleeping while doing all of this.
10. Come back to night owls and confess how much I actually fail at this list today.

I start work in just over an hour, another night of watchin movies n tv series erm CCTV, oh joy :) and then I have 4 days off, so I have to think of something to do for the bank holiday weekend.

So I got a couple things done, the wife had other plans for me...

I called the realtor, installed my GALAXY GTS 450, played mass effect,watched Dexter with my wife, andended up going grocery shopping. FAIL.

I ended up going to work today too. DOUBLE FAIL. At least I get 16 hours of overtime.

But tonight its party time, UFC, drilling some steaks and beer. Much deserved!

How's the rest of your weekends going?
 
Great to hear that your having a good time. I'm in times square right now, nyc is off the hook! I'm gonna be dead tired by the time I get back to hotel
 
So far so good, me and the new lady in my life are going to go see The Hangover 2 (my second time seeing it)...should be a great time :).
 
Finally, a group for me. As for my plans this weekend, I'll be at a cookout with friends and family, and being as lazy as possible. School just let out, and I'm waiting to hear from Best Buy about my job with Geek Squad. Until then, it's time to be happy and lazy.
 
Happy and lazy has a great sound about it. I have to work Monday but tomorrow is going to be fun. Grillin and chillin with the fam.. might even get in the pool if it warms up a bit.

Grillin and chillin indeed. UFC ended early tonight, I decided to skip the bar and come home. I had enough for a one night. Plus I really wanted to play games with my new video card :P I need to cut out a hole in my case and install a fan though, its getting warm in there. But for now, I'm hittin the sack, early for me but I plan on doing a lot of crap in the morning. See you all again in the twilight! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

There were a couple significant fights. It was an entertaining card over all, but it was a short night of fights as the main event got cancelled, so the Co-main event took its place.

Brian Stann had a great performance, he is one of the guys I always root for.

Rampage and Hammil was decent.

Rick Story did well against Alves, but in the end he started to get lit up a little, but he still won.

Not bad overall. I am glad it ended early though, I had to get some rest.

On a side note: I hooked up both of my monitors to my computer today. I really have no use for this other than saying I have two monitors hooked up:cool:

Now I have to get the kids to sleep so I can clean up my closet full of boxes and junk.

I need some "me" time lol...
