Hoping there is someone that would answer me :)

Ok so my phone isnt rooted thats good news my friend has 2.2 froyo as well but he doesnt have the root kernal version any difference

Well mine says 2.6.32.9 wasted@box #8. I am pretty sure that my phones hasn't been drinking alcohol.

Is your friend on the same baseband version?

well even the same phones from the same carrier might have different kernel/firmware/baseband version, so it doesn't mean anything. If you never rooted your phone and bought it brand new there's no way that it's rooted. The only way you can know if it's rooted or not is to check your app drawer and see if you have an app called super user.
