No 4G signal

My new Samsung Galaxy S6 is incapable of receiving a 4G signal in places that my Mum's Note 4 and my friend's S5 can. I have gone to an EE shop and gotten a sim swap, but the problem persists. Can anyone help or suggest a way to fix this?

Are you all on the same carrier, i.e. your mom and friend are also on EE? Because different carriers may have different coverage, all depending where their cell-towers are.

Thank you so much! The option for LTE was turned off by default and I wasn't aware of it.

In Settings go to Mobile networks/mobile data and make sure that Standard data is checked.
