Root No 4G since i been using Basix 1.0

Hi guys i really need your help i been using Basix 1.0 rom and its the best rom i ever used but for some reason i can not get my LTE to work worth my life i tryid everything i dial *228/**583385## and the anycut app i love the rom but if i cant have any 4G i just have to return back to stock i dont want to but its killing me:confused: some people are saying that it does not have anything to do with the rom but if i use the stock rom the 4G runs great please someone help me on this one
 
I am also back to the stock rom after following eveyone's advice. The longest I've had 4g with the Basix rom is a couple of hours and as soon as I lose 4g and go to 1g it never returns. I've reflashed to odin, dialed *228, factory reset and still I end up losing all 4g and 1g and cannot connect.
 
I have Basix 1.0 installed and I don't have any issues with my 4g other then the occasional switch to 1x then back to 4g again, but that happened with both Exodus and Stock also, so im sure its a MetroPCS/Signal issue and not a ROM issue.
 
No the 4g and 1g icon disappear completely and I am unable to connect to the internet.

Yeah thats crazy! im srry I can't help ya, but I figured the best I could do was inform you that I have that Rom installed and I don't have any issues like that. Try asking for help in IRC im sure youll get some answers from there, everyone is very helpful. Again srry I couldn't offer a solution for you, good luck.

I'm work shatterproof, I have the Basix Tom which I use exclusively, and I have not had any 4g connectivity issues at all. In Orlando, if that matters.
 
I can confirm there is a problem on the basix with 4g. I did odin and returned to stock. wiped this wiped that and still 4g failed. Its an installation problem I installed basix on 2 other phones no problem but mines the 4g stopped working. I however did find a solution. Create a backup recover on the phone that does have basix with 4g working. Then restore the backup on the non 4g working phone. Once the backup is installed verify you have 4g service then reinstall the basix normally and the phone functions fine. Your biggest problem will be finding a working backup of a basix rom... and becareful As my girl yelled at me because I cloned her phone... Do people really play every level of angry birds, seasons, rio... wow!
 
Use CWM-Recovery and flash my nandroid backup over your Basix ROM.
This should give you working 4g.
I limited the number of apps in there, so you can personalize it.
I believe I removed personal data as well. If you find some still there, please let me know so I can remove those and reupload.
I'm planning on sharing this with everyone experiencing issues with the ROM, seeing as I know mine is working 100%.

In theory, the PRL could also be updated as well, as I have 2G, 3G AND 4G all enabled on my phone. To check if your PRL is updated, go to Settings->About Phone->Status and check if you have PRL 3020.
Anything below that, you're not updated. Anything above it, you have a time machine ;)

2. Extract it. Move the folder 2G-3G-4G-Basix-Retouched to your sdcard's clockworkmod directory. That is /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/
3. Reboot into recovery mode.
4. Select restore, and make sure to chose 2G-3G-4G-Basix-Retouched as the location to restore from.
5. Tell me how it went.

Hmm... sucks that the prl is not also part of the backup. I hope it works great for you...

Looks like my 4G is toast ... I tried it all. Using tiede's cwm backup and restored over my Basix 1.0 ... nope, no 4G. Tried using cwm backup from indulge with working 4G ... nope, no 4G. Forced PRL update to 3020 ... nope, no 4G nor 3G. Only 1x works ... and it has to be forced to turn on by turning Airplane mode on then off.

I find it hard to believe that the Basix 1.0 rom had anything to do with this because that same rom is working for everyone else, including the 2nd Indulge that I used the cwm backup to restore from.

It must be my phone ... grrrrr

Tiede: For future reference I couldn't setup my google account on your backup. Via wi-fi or 1X. When I flashed to Basix. Worked fine. Irreverent but informative.

Ill just flash to Metro stock and play dumb tomorrow. All I really have to say is I cant get 4g right? lol.
 
Yup. That should just about do it. In theory. I'm not sure what's up with setting up the Google account settings, two other users said they were able to do it...
 
I have 4g and have the 3020 PRL. So I wanted to try 2G-3G-4G-Basix-Retouched and It was fantastic. Some of the programs forced me to close like My BAckup Root and I couldnot connect to my GMail Account. I would really like to use Retouched, any suggestions?
 
I live in suburban Detroit and I have had the Basix ROM on my phone since the release with absolutely no loss to 4G or data.

I like the ROM... although I seem to be getting more force closes on certain apps, but it's nothing I can't work through!

Make sure to add your google account in the phone by going to Settings->Accounts & Sync and click the "add account" button on the bottom first.

As far as MyBackupRoot force-closing, I have no idea what's going on there, but I might look into it once i get some time.

It happened to me, too, earlier today.

The weird thing is that in the Settings/About screen, I see the following:

Baseband version
CDMA: R910.0.4M.EE07
LTE: Unknown

Is anyone else getting that? Does anyone know how to flash JUST the LTE???

It was strange when I tried to enter it was already assigned to someone(gmail acct.) I'll try again tomorrow, Oh, nice work,,,,,,
 
Woah, its not Basix, i am pretty sure.

MetroPCS has been having 4g service outages lately, i know that they have had a regional service outage for 4g that lasted approximately 4 days STRAIGHT in my area (yes metro told me directly after numerous inquiries that they were working on their systems). this means you have to switch to CDMA for a while (1x). The 4g coverage will resume in a day or so.

Also, make sure your HOME SID is 6503 (which is the default national SID). use the ##626* programming with access code 587846 to get through the SPC code check then edit and just type 6503 directly when you get to the HOME SID section.. hitting OK after you do so or hitting done (one or the other) will reboot your phone and refresh it on the towers.
 
Retouched is not basix folks. Retouched was not meant as a rom. It's a fix for those with problems. Leave it be for now Unless we chitchat first ;)
I might try to make it a rom soon, but not yet. And it would be considered alpha software at best!
