Help No active notifications after upgrading to 4.3

So, I upgraded my N7 to 4.3 a few days ago. Belatedly, I realized that I'm not getting the new active notifications on it. I don't see a setting anywhere that would enable it, so I'm not quite sure how to get the new functionality. I'm probably just looking right past it, but can someone point me in the right direction to turn this on?

Do you mean the active notifications on the new Moto X? Those aren't a 4.3 feature - they're moto specific.

Ah, yeah, that's probably the source of my confusion - no wonder I wasn't seeing it! Thanks for pointing that out!

Yep, there are some apps that will simulate it - but keep in mind that an LCD screen means you have to turn on the entire backlight every time you want to display one of those notifications. The reason it's practical on AMOLED is because they only have to light up the pixels that are being displayed - with LCD, you're basically turning the entire screen on every time.

Yeah, I just installed this app on my Maxx - that's actually what made me think of getting this on my N7. I'll experiment and see if it drains power too fast, 'cuz I don't think it has the AMOLED screen. Thanks!
