No batch delete in google voice?

Why is there no way to batch delete items in Google Voice? And I'm just surprised there isn't more feedack on the topic with google. Having checkboxes on the left seems so basic.

Not a great work-around but you can batch delete from the website.... though only in batches of like 10

I've done that in the past. It's annoying. Just really odd something so simple is so overlooked.
