Help No built-in qr scanner app in Camera settings

I have a Galaxy a10e and a20 from T-mobile. Neither have a setting in the Camera app to turn on built-in QR scanner that so many on Youtube have pointed out is need to activate the feature. Both phones have Android 9. Was this feature left out by T-mobile. Other users of these phone indicate that a separate QR app is not needed. Thanks for any info.

Thanks for the responses. Although both my phone are running Android 9 and therefore should have a Camera setting to turn on QR scanning, mine don't. I guess I'll just download a QR Scanner app. Thanks again for the input.
