Root No Connection, can't send MMS

I'm running Eclipse ROM, haven't had an issue with it for months. Now I get "No Connection" within GMail, and also cannot send MMS. I can send/receive SMS though. I've rebooted the phone about 300 times, pulled the battery a few times, ticked Airplane mode a dozen times. When I connect to WiFi I can send email.
Any ideas?

there is a couple of options that may have changed
menu>setting>battery & data manager>
data saver should be uncheck

menu>setting>battery & data manager>data delivery
check 'data enabled'
check 'background data'
