I have a new unlocked Samsung Galaxy S II GT-19100 with an AT&T simcard. I have previously used AT&T with a Blackberry and had no trouble getting a connection at my office, but my connection is going in and out (mostly out) with my new Samsung phone. What can I do? I am a senior citizen who doesn't understand most of the lingo, so if you can give me very basic instructions, I'd be very grateful.Ho

Hi! I feel for you, and I have the same situation at work. The bottom line is, AT&T's network leaves much to be desired, and there's not much you can do about it. Some phones just have better reception than others, though I've never heard any complaint about the Galaxy S-line in that respect. That said, by any chance do you have one of those popular replacement S2 back covers that is made of aluminum? <-- (rhetorical question; I know you can't reply)
If so, the metal will block the signal. Try the stock plastic cover, and get a non-metallic slip-on case if you are concerned about protecting the phone. HTH!
