Help No Connectivity

I am getting very frustrated. I can have full 4G for the longest time and then suddenly I have no service at all. I won't even move from the same spot and I lose service. I can be on Facebook and just lose service. Can't load anything. I'm fed up with it. Verizon is no help. Anyone know why I'm having this problem?

This happened to me twice yesterday while on Facebook. All other apps were good.

Did you notice other apps having this issue?

A lot of people had ongoing data issues, myself included. But mine have gone away since the ICS upgrade. I don't use the FB app - I use FriendCaster. I have Instagram installed, but I don't think I've ever used it.

I got so tired of this problem that I turned off 4G completely and am now on 3G and/or WIFI exclusively.

I still have the same problem periodically when I leave a hotspot and turn off my WIFI...I eventually get connection back but I get the dreaded 'No Internet Connection' screen for a while.

Very, very frustrating.

So I'm go to lunch today and I stop by our local Burger King, take out my phone and nothing. No bars. No Internet. No connection. Facebook.....doesn't work. Browser....doesn't work. Pulse News...doesn't work. How frustrating. Now I have to sit there and eat my burger and look at the parking lot. How frustrating is that? So after licking off barbecue sauce off my paws, I restarted the Maxx (while taking a few more bites out of the burger) and it finally worked.

Not sure to blame Verizon, Motorola, or ICS.

if not suggested prior, you might have a bad sim card. stop by a verizon dealer and have them give you a new one.

it might very well fix your problem.

Had the sim card problem today. Today, I tried using the phone and got the invalid sim card message. So I rebooted phone, same problem. Pulled sim card. Did not solve problem. Went to verizon and got new sim card. Solved the problem. They even suggested I do a factory reset as they were having more problems with the ICS update than what Verizon or Motorola are telling people. So I did that after I got the new sim card. So far so good.
