Help No Contact Pictures in Messaging App

I have a contact pic associated with every person on my contact list. Those pictures show up on the Contacts List and the Log. For some reason I just get blank icons in the Message App.

Has this every happened to anyone before?

Someone mentioned it may be a permissions problem. I recently updated to 2.3.5 so something might have gone funky.

Does anyone have a clue as to what file directory would need to be chmod'd to allow the messaging app to read from it??
