No contacts on cubot x12
Guest
Just got a new Cubot X12
Android 5.1 build r14 kernel 3.10.65+
Not rooted
So, set up as normal, in with my Google account and then... no contacts.
Searched alot on the web, no joy. Possibly a comparable nexus issue out there but no real solution I can see.
Done the obvious things like reset phone and tried again. Currently just did it again and have installed nothing. Still no contacts.
More worrying is in the contacts app, I go to the ... Then accounts, then hit add account. This dumps me straight into the add email to the generic email client set up screen' so basically absolutely doesn't even offer Google as an option. Before the reset when I had WhatsApp installed, it did offer that as an option.
Anyone come across similar or have any ideas?
Thanks
