No Custom Recovery for my phone.

I own a Lenovo A690 (rooted)

Specs:
>1 GHz Cortex A9 (single core only)
>512mb ram and 512mb internal (I use partition to increase it.)
>No need to mention GPU
>Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread)

My problem is that I was looking all over the net to find a Custom Recovery for my phone, but I failed. No CWM TWRP anything! I see few but they are in other language. Another thing, I once try to enter to my stock recovery, but after that when I try to do it again, It doesn't go to recovery but it continues to boot to startup. Another thing is I want to do it all using only my phone because just recently my PC broke and I can't afford one now.

Any help. I always wanted to flash roms.

Yeah, that looks like, from the version of Android that you are running, a quite old device.

If there's not been a custom recovery built for it already, I'm guessing a dev hasn't and probably won't take up the cause to build one.

You could post a thread in here: http://androidforums.com/forums/official-unloved-devices-hit-squad-oudhs.2076/, but be sure to read / review the stickied threads in there for more information before posting.

If you don't get a custom recovery for you device, you'll need to be pretty careful with the changes you make with root so you don't leave yourself with an unbootable device.

Best of luck!
