Root No data after flashing stock via odin

I tried to install monster 5.3, but after several failed attempts/soft bricks I decided to go back stock to fix the phone. I installed the SCHR720_EH02-PDA.tar (not prerooted and 2.3.4) I now have no data (3g/1x) at all. I have tried reflashing, prl updates batery pulls, even airplane mode wont force the data on. Wifi has a error underneath it in settings. What can I do to resolve this issue? Thanks ahead of time.

yeah thats the major problem using odin, which is really stupid if you think about it as it should be fully functioning. i had the same problem too. theres a few things you could do such as run the prerooted.tar file, people flash the stock one and then the prerooted when they see they dont have data and it brings its back.... or the way i got my data back working was doing this:
after the custom install (using odin, usually needed after updating to 2.36 and trying to revert to 2.3.4)
install CWM
do a nandroid
install the stock 2.3.6 update from Samsung
install CWM
restore your nandroid., making sure to wipe dalvick and cache
this will remove the yellow trinagle on boot and set you you backk to the official android os. and then i used qpts for this:
Fixing Data Service

1- Download QPST (Free Software, Click Here)

2- Get your own SPC Number Click Here & Enter Your MEID. That will be your key to unlock the phone and your password. Your MEID could be found at Settings->About Phone->Status ... it's all numbers

3- Got to Start-->All Programs-->QPST-->QPST Configuration.

4- Select your phone from the list (the phone should be in Debug Mode).

5- If you don't see your phone Click on "Add New Port" uncheck "Show Serial ....blablabla" and select the port and add it.

6- With your phone selected go to Start Clients-->Service Programing. Select the phone and click OK.

7- If a dialog came up telling you to retry click on retry.

8- Click on "Read from Phone" you will be asked for your SPC number to unlock the phone and get its information.

**** BE REALLY CAREFUL AFTER THIS POINT YOU COULD MISS-UP YOUR SERVICE AND FLASHING YOUR PHONE WILL NOT RESTORE THESE SETTING... SO TAKE EXTRA CARE FROM THIS POINT ON***

9- Go to M.IP tab and select profile 0 and edit your user name remove the "aaak." just for the first row.

10- Go to PPP Config-->Um change the user name (Your Phone#@mymetropcs.com) and insert your SPC as the password

11- Go to PPP Config-->An change the user name (Your Phone#@mymetropcs.com) and insert your SPC as the password

12- M.IP tab change the mobile ip behavior to: simple IP only (thanks to oscarher4)

Write to Phone (the phone should restart by itself)

thats pretty much everything i did. i didnt have any data at all after using the stock.tar but then using the official update i got my signal back so i could make calls. but no 3g or 1x so thats when i used qpst and got my full network back.

Thanks for your help guys and sorry for the wrong section. I have had problems with this phone through root cwm and installing monster 5.3 (still cant get 5.3 to flash) I simpily installed SCHR720_EH02_Prerooted-PDA.tar and 3g kicked in perfectly install and all went smooth. I then installed Admiral Beast v1.0 and ICS 6. I wish I could get the 5.3 to install because I want more features and its Icecream sandwich theme gets hung on " setting permission" I am happy though cause Over the last week is when I have learned what I know about flashing and hacking any phone. Thanks again!!
