I have Samsung Galaxy S Relay, running 4.1.2.
Very often I will get a message that there is no data connection when I try to make a call, even when I have more bars than the county jail.
This can happen at any time, but it more often happens when using bluetooth, and out of any wifi range.
Other times it works fine.
It happens most often just when I need to place the call NOW.
How can I stop this?

Seeing the answers to your post though make all the sense in the world. I am going to call att and tell them again to completely unlock my phone and ask if they imei/esn blacklisted my phone by mistake.
I have a feeling that's what has been the problem all along. I am gleaning from answers. I thank you all at the think tank and send you praise!!
