Root No Deep Sleep

Running Mobster's latest ROM and installed Anthrax kernel 2.3.8 today, but I checked CPU Spy and it says that my phone isn't going into deep sleep. Is anyone else having this problem? I think this may be why my battery life is so bad.

I restarted the phone and it now goes into deep sleep but it's less than half of the time. Out of the almost 3 hours since the restart I've only used the phone maybe thirty minutes max. The battery always seems to be draining at around 10% per hour.

:O I don't have that many apps. Maybe around 15 but included in those are things like TiBu, No frills cpu, etc. Does anyone think that it may be Groove IP? On another note, is anyone with Groove IP having fast draining battery problems? BTW, I am still using the stock battery, maybe its time I upgrade to the 1900 Anker.
 
I think I found the problem for my bad battery life. It seems kernel wake locks are keeping my phone at the lowest frequency the whole time. Here is a screenshot. Does anybody know by any chance what is causing these kernel wake locks?

Which governor are you using? Some of them prevents the phone from going into deep sleep. I'd try more general ones like ondemand or interactive just to test it out.

I'm using ondemand right now. I'll try interactive to see. Could the problem be
Anthrax Kernel? I was having problems even before Anthrax though too...
 
Flashed it. The phone seems to be going into deep sleep but still only about 10% of the time. The kernel wakelocks still seem to be the same with this kernel. I probably have to give it a little more time but it's so hard to keep my hands off the phone because I want to check CPU Spy all the time for the results :P

Awesome! I think it goes to deep sleep a couple minutes after the sreen is off. The 1st core does not go to deep sleep as often as the 2nd core. I guess the phone still needs it for basic functions. Look at mine.
 
Wow..What an improvement! Thanks for telling me about this isn't kernel. Currently using lulzactive governor with it.

Do any people mind posting their deep sleep percentages from their normal use? I would like to see how mine compares. I think it still is not as efficient as it can be because the kernel wake locks are still taking a significant portion of the screen off time.

I know I already posted mine but there you go. Couple hours later using intellidemand governor.
