My galaxy note 2 will not syn to email for some reason. Outlook was down today. Does that have anything to do with it. I can get email on internet no prob. Just not on my phone..

It could be your router.
Turn it off and unplug from power source.
On the phone go to menu/settings/wireless and networks/WiFi settings. Delete/forget the network.
Turn phone off.
Wait 5 minutes.
Plug power into router and turn on. When fully booted up turn phone on and sign into your network.
