I think I erased the CD partition or folder on my phone. When I plug in USB all I get is power and no option to go into USB mode / or mass storage mode (whatever you call it) Im on Tickerguys newest Rom abd ClockWorkmod and am not sure how to get it work. Can anyone help?

*FIX* Get your computer to see MT as Mass Storage - xda-developers

Step 4. Scroll down the list of activities until you see "Select COM Port Mode" and click it. Just hit ok to accept the default name

This does not exist on my phone. I have tried different computers (even new ones) and cables that work on other phones. I think I deleted something. It will not even come up when powering on and pressing volume down, then plugging in. All I get is charging light. Any other ideas. I have searched very diligently through the forums to find a fix.

My phones does see the memory card. It does get power, but it does not get into usb mode....?

If you are trying to go into download mode (by holding down POWER + Volume down), make sure that you do not have your phone plugged in until AFTER you see the "polling" messages. The phone will not go into download mode if you have it plugged in.

Also, are you holding the Power + Volume down buttons simultaneously until the phone vibrates? If you let go too soon, it won't work as well.

Otherwise, I'd say try flashing back to the stock ROM and see if your issue still exists. And if that works, then try going back to cm7.

My actual port is messed up. I pressed up pretty hard and it finaly went into usb mode then went out. Cheap plastic peace must of broke inside of phone!

Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks this thing's USB port is junky... Since I've gotten the Triumph one of my USB cables straight out stopped working on it, while another one is iffy (depending on which direction I bend it while inserted).

No jokes, please. :p
