Help No flashlight after 5.1

Hey, late reply here, but my son has the same Android version as I do and also does still have the flashlight icon.

And.... Now it's back

Hmm, did you have any other flashlight apps installed?

I'm just conjecturing that one had exclusive control of the camera flash (flashlight) and therefore the notification pulldown one wouldn't show because that resource wasn't available.

Just a guess...not putting too much stock in that because that item should be a shared resource (I think).
