No front-facing camera?

Not for me, but the lack of a removable battery could be. I am waiting on a release date for Metro and some reviews before I decide what to get. LG Connect is out of my price range.

Wait. I didn't know about the non removable battery!! This could be the dealbreaker. I was on the edge with the lack of a front facing camera, but this battery could be the end... the price for the processor and beats audio are the only things still holding me on.

Not a deal breaker since I had the original HTC EVO on Sprint when it came out 2 years ago....front facing cameras are usually horrible 1.3megapixels. And only used video calling once with friends while sitting around a dinner table to show off our new toys that were capable and after that never used it again. A gimmick really and will never notice or care if a phone has a FFC or not.

The big things about the OneV that are deal breakers are the lack of a digital compass for Google Maps driving navigation and non-replaceable battery.

I agree, front facing cameras are usually very poor quality. As for things that make use of it, like Skype, etc. I rarely if ever use it.

Not too worried about the replaceable battery either as it lasts me approx 2 days under moderate use.

The One V is like getting the Desire all over again except this time with a better screen, more internal memory and a much more refined OS / interface. 3.7 to 4.0" screen size is pretty much perfect for a phone in my books. Will it hold up like the Desire? We'll have to see.

SuRoot should get one and make a ROM for us ;-)

yea lack of fc could be a deal breaker for some but i never used it on my old triumph the non removable battery is my biggest problem with the phone but luckily the battery life is already great as it is

I just switched from the Droid X to the One V and while I bought extra batteries for the X I found I never actually used them. Not that the X had good battery life, just that it was easy to keep it charged.

I just did my first day with the One V and the battery did fine, no charging required until I got home, so I am not worried about it.

Couldn't care less about the front facing camera. I haven't run into any deal breakers yet.
