Help No GPS fix since Jelly Bean update

I've just got a Galaxy Nexus at work and was told it had just been updated with Jelly Bean, 4.1.1. The phone is great expect for the fact that I can't get a GPS fix no matter what I do. I've tried to uncheck/check Google location services, as this seems to be a standard fix, but nothing happens. I do get a GPS icon in the upper left corner of the screen, but it's not flashing and doesn't really seem to be searching for a signal at all. If I use the GPS Test app I'm not even able to see any satellites that I should be able to connect to. I'm at a loss here, any tips/tricks/solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Did it work fine before the JB update? How long have you tried?

Most likely it's an issue with your phone though, as other phones GPS seems to work fine. If it was due to the software update, my only suggestion would be to do a factory reset to fix the problem, short of calling verizon cs.

The phone was fine before the update, I've done a factory reset but still no satellites in view. Been outside for at least half an hour trying to lock on to something.

try this:
get gps status
Install and open
hit menu key and choose 'tools'
choose 'manage a-gps state'
choose 'reset'
phone should freeze for a moment and then reboot.

this fixed some gps issues i was having in the past.
good luck

Unfortunately this didn't help. The GPS icon actually started to flash for 30 seconds or so, then it went back to just being empty and not connected at all.
