No GTA III for Xperia Play....

That is so not fair :(

Just imagine how much fun you'd have playing it on the Xperia Play !

Can't believe rockstar didn't look into this.

which phones is it being released for? are they dual core phones? the play runs some pretty visually impressive games. i wouldn't think gta3 would have any issues running on it.

Man I hope it comes to xperia! I remember getting this game for the first time and being blown away by how much you could do. Please rockstar it was released on PS2 no reason it cant come to xperia! Brings back so many memories rushing home to play it!

I hope i comes out for the xplay.... im starting to regret getting this phone. i thought we would have atleast a couple of hit games out by now

I dont see Xperia Play listed

Xperia Play has basically the same hardware specs as the iPhone 4S, and better than the 3GS. There's no way they're going to the trouble of optimizing it for lower spec hardware and then not release it on Android. They'd be ignoring a good couple of million people with phones capable of playing it and willing to pay for it.

They'd be stupid not to add Xperia play support. The best "gaming" phone on the market doesn't get support? Doesn't make sense...

Its easy enough to play with touch controls, i have no complaints.

U can use accelerometer to steer if u dont like either the digital or analog touch button.

U can also move the onscreen buttons around the screen to get the best position to suit you, so its not unlike any other decent touch controlled game.

"My hands are all messed up! So you better drive brother."

You can use the hardware controls on the play and they make it very enjoyable but I find the game suffers from frame rate drop every now and then. It's still playable and is well worth the 3 quid.

I thought this wasn't being released for the Xperia Play? Cause IGN listed the smartphones which were not compatible with the game

On the market place it says the game is compatible with the play and the hardware controls work but like I said the frame rate can drop every now and then.

I purchased it last night. It has the odd pop up and frame rate issues but then so did the original PS2 version. Definately worth the asking price.

I downloaded it, its not bad, pretty good for a mobile game. Somethings I noticed, brake lights don't work, hit a police car, sirens don't go off, no flashing lights. Traffic lights did not appear to work also. Bit of a shame, but oh well. Took me 30mins to download the game to my xperia play.
