I noticed that when I plug in my earphones no icon appears in the status bar that my earphones are connected. Is that a bug or something??

I've never expected an icon to appear in the status bar, but mine behaves the same as your phone.

On my OV when I was on cm7 it appeared it even appeared on stock.

I am on a stock OV and there is no headset icon.
