I am willing to stop this if you stop insisting your view is fact.
To say something is out of date the day it comes out is absurb, because it isnt high end it doesnt mean its out of date. You have been brainwashed by android propaganda
IThe only fact there really is that it is at the low end of the market on price and the price it is now under 130, rest is down to point of view.
However in terms of what the consumer expects of a company when buying a product is they still expect a reasonable amount of time in terms of software support etc. The fact is that the ace is still been sold today on the market as a new phone and it is reasonable (In my view) that people expect its cheap because of lower hardware spec not reduced support from the vendor, I dont see it in the advertising stating by the way this phone is cheaper because there will be no more software updates for it.
Given that ICS has lower hardware requirements than gingerbread to run I find the samsung and retailers stance undefendable on this issue. Its also laughable that a web browser such as chrome has been coded to require cutting edge cpu functions. I have tried to google as to why this requirement has been coded in but I could not find as to why.
Unfortenatly for consumers the vast majority of the smartphone market is full of people with little technical knowledge who are falling for it all. They will keep buying the new phones without realising the game thats been played. So yes I accept the ACE is now low end of the market, bottom end in fact however my view is that should only be in hardware capabilities and not artifically also limited in software. Since I come as a experienced PC user and know alot about software and hardware in general in the computer sector I can see whats happening right away. Apple has a lot of faults, I dont like what they doing either, although they not abusing the OS situation as badly as android vendors.
Game over for me in this thread

We will never agree with each other on this issue.
