Root no ics

For those wondering LG has said they are only planning ics for high end devices. Looks like we are going to have to wait for a rom of some kind if we ever want it.

Then again, virgin mobile still doesn't have a gingerbread release.

I think I'll be sticking with Gingerbread with a ICS theme. I think it would be more stable since ICS will no doubt require a lot more resources.

How is this obvious? Google has stated that as far as they can tell any phone that can run gingerbread can run ice cream sandwich.

Well there are reports that the Nexus 1 and the Optimus 2x both won't be getting the ICS update and both have much higher specs than our V.
