SAMSUNG LA FLEUR Phone continuously says Low on Memory although only had it 2 wks and ONLY 8 photos and handful Apps. Friend told me most memory must be loaded on SIM rather than the SD memory card (er..why) and now have found only two of my Apps actually on SD. I went to SETTINGS, APPLICATIONS and MANAGE APPLICATIONS then selected one of the Apps . Understand the UNINSTALL but no idea what THE FORCE STOP button means. There is a MOVE TO SD CARD button but it's inactive on all. What is CLEAR DATA (data of what and what would it be clearing it from) and CLEAR CACHE........but the cache, whatever that is is only "0" anyway.

Force Stop allows you to stop a rogue app from running (usually immediately prior to hitting the uninstall button ;))

Move to SD wasn't supported by all apps and has been removed from Android for a while now so I would guess the number of apps that support it are rapidly reducing.

Cache is temporary storage - some things like the browser will use quite a bit. You can clear this without any worries.

Clear Data on the other hand may lose some of your settings / selections from the app.

Your friend must have meant SD card when they said SIM.

It sounds like this phone is not too recent which may mean that it has internal storage split between 'memory' and .. something else. Possibly your photos are in memory. If you get a file manager, you may be able to move them.

If you have video, that takes up masses of space - again, use a file manager to move them to the SD card. They're probably in /DCIM/camera but it may be an idea to use the search function.
