Help No in-call sound after using media player

When using the media player and quickly disconnecting the aux jack, whether its headphones or to a car stereo, the phone audio does not work until reboot. The solution thus far has been to make sure to stop media playback and then disconnect the audio cable.

Has there been any success in a fix yet?

I believe the only fix is:
AllDroid - View topic - [RELEASE] fix audio after disconnecting headphones/AUX cable

While you still have to manually fix it, it's not as bad as unplugging/plugging in your headphones adding more wear to the jack.

Also if you have Locale, you can set it to run this app when you unplug your headphones.. you'll still have to close it though.
