No internal audio

Hi everybody. I have a question. I installed on my Galaxy Tab several kind of screen recorders to be able to record video calls with my son, who lives in another country. The images are regularly recorded, but there is no way to record the audio. I had a look on the web and it seems that for cause of not better specified Google restrictions, Android doesn't allow to record internal audio. Do you think there could be a way to overgo this problem ? If not, do you think I should get in touch with Google or Android assistance to try to solve the problem ? Thanks.

Ummm... no. :) Android is perfectly capable of recording audio, although, depending on where you live, it may be illegal to do so. For example, here in California, phone calls can only be recorded if all parties agree to (and, obviously, know about) it.

Have you tried recording other audio? Let's narrow things down by seeing if your microphone and other hardware actually work.

If you don't already have something that can do this, I recommend Easy Voice Recorder. I have its paid version, but the free one will do. Just test recording something, and verify that it worked. Post your results.
 
Thank you so much for your reply. I also use voice recording apps and they work very well. I'll tell you more, K can also use a telephone call recorder and it works perfectly. The problem only comes with screen recorder apps. Good video recording, but no sound.

I'm not personally familiar with screen recording apps. Can you point us to some of the apps you've tried? I'm curious to see what their descriptions say they do. I've always assumed they strictly recorded the screen, as their name implies. Please post links to their Play Store pages.
