Help No Internet Access During Calls?

I just found that the phone loses Internet access during voice calls. Is this new with the last system update?

What version are you running? 23.11.39 is the latest.

Do you have Advanced Calling turned on?

I am running 23.11.39.

Advanced Calling is not turned on. When I try to turn it on, I get a message "We encountered a problem activating Advanced Calling 1.0. Please try again later."

A little Googling tells me that Advanced Calling is required on this phone to get simultaneous voce and data.

I just tried it for you with Advanced Calling enabled.

I called *86 and while the call was going on I visited some pages I had never been to before using the Boat browser with Wi-Fi turned off.

Since I can't enable Advanced Calling, I guess I'm SOL.

Yea, well unfortunately I can't use Advanced Calling since I'm on prepaid. Vzw won't allow us to use it so we can talk & surf at the same time. I'm thinking of trying to swap this phone over to At&t, they allow it on their GSM network. I think it should work fine there, I've never used at&t before.
