No internet connectivity for apps

I have a sony erricson WT19i with gingerbread installed in it. I got GPRS activated and internet works for my browser but not for any apps, hence I am not able to sync my gmail account or facebook ...Can anyone please recommend any fix..

Have you tried pulling the battery and restarting the device?

This sometimes can solve minor issues...otherwise if this doesn't work get back with me and i can try to find another solution!

Thanks for replying, I tried doing that but still it does not work. I have also reset my phone but that did not work out as well, so any help will be appreciated??

Welcome to the site, if memory serves me right the model for that device is the Ericsson Live with Walkman, see below link, someone there should be able to help you with your issue
