Hello casio commando Its a rooted m130, everything was great then one day I changed some settings in juice defender, and my internet wouldn't work after that.
I didn't do a back up when i first rooted cause i didn't know how to.

I just made my casio foolproof from the post by wilster419.
I flashed boot.img and Flashed recovery.img
also did the back ups he recommended boot system recovery

http://androidforums.com/commando-a...-make-your-phone-recoverable-system-wipe.html

Is there a way to get my 3g data back. I can still make calls and send and recieve text but the internet wont work at all some apps work, but i think it is using the 1x instead of the 3g.

Thanks alot for all your work wilster419, that was the first time i used cmd,adb ect. and it worked perfect, although i was sweating the whole time. lol

Welcome to the forums, brandennj!
Have you tried uninstalling Juice Defender to see if it solves the problem. It's been forever since I've used it but I thought the point was to disable data/3G when the screen is off or otherwise (while keeping 1x on).

yea i uninstalled it, yea i think it was the setting to change automatically enable or disable the background. it was sone long ago i cant rememeber, all i know is it was one of the options that required root.

Im guessing that ill have to reinstall system files, have no idea. This happend a long time ago and i basically have a basic phone thats only smart when i have wifi.

I have read your posts and will help you after my work today. I'm sorry to keep you waiting but I can't do it immediately :(

Before you start changing more system files, i just want to clear a couple of things up, just as a precaution.

1. You said that you installed the boot.img and recovery.img. HOWEVER, did you get the boot.img from the "M130 update" page? If not, you will want to get it.
2. You also say that you did not do a "backup", but then you said that you did later on with the reccomended minimum boot system recovery. By backup, do you mean a "Nandroid" backup? Did you make these with a shell script or in recovery mode? If your not sure, could you navagate to /sdcard/nandroid/console=ttyDCC0/BRS-2013monthday-time
and verify that it exists? Also what is your firmware version? M130?
I know its a lot to ask for, but it's all to prevent bricking your phone. If you want to use an IM like google talk or something, that works too.

I am using M130

1. Yes i installed the boot.img and recovery.img. I think i got it from the root-via-rasta-fastboot-exploit page. Is that the right one?

2. right, i did not do a backup when i first rooted it 5 months ago, but yesterday I did a back up while I had it in "RECOVERY MODE"... I think. It showed the screen with all the options (backup, wipe, developer mode, advance ect.) like it showed in your video.
I went here --> /sdcard/nandroid/console=ttyDCC0/BRS-2013monthday-time..... and there are 6 files there boot, cache data, nandroid, recovery system .img files so a "NANDROID BACKUP".... sorry im good with computers but apparently still learning lol.

google talk works id my gmail acount johnson.branden05

ok it is good that you have M130. One last confirmation/question page. I'm really sorry that it must be done like this but the worst thing to have happen is that you brick your device.

the correct version of the boot.img is from the "m130 update" page: http://androidforums.com/commando-all-things-root/741048-m130-unbrickable-root-kit-update.html

just flash it like you did the other one. it protects you also from a data wipe-reboot-bootloop.

you also have a nandroid backup. this is good. was it made before or after the problems started? do you have busybox installed?

after all that, i highly reccomend you do a titanium backup of ALL your data and apps. and system data if you want. just want to be safe ;)

two more things to download. a flashable ROM in case you need it, and a system space checker. you can get the checker here: http://d-h.st/Ahx
as for the ROM's you can get the stock, blues, or redpill ROM. choice is up to you.

once you have all of this we hopefully will be in touch in google. i can explain the system space checker there too.

I actually installed the boot.img from the M130 Unbrickable root kit update, sorry i could not find that page to confirm it, but it is for sure from that page.

the nadroid was made AFTER the problems started

Yes I have busybox installed

I am working on doing a Titanium back up now... back up both
the red=(system files) and green= (data and apps)??? right? just doulble checking... i thought i had to buy the full version of Titanium back up to to a back up otherwise i would of done this.

just downloaded the system space checker and liking the redpill rom...

sounds like its safe to flash any rom? with your unbrickable root kit... as long as I follow your easy directions! right?

ok so you are ready to wipe your phone and install the redpill ROM. when installing:
have it plugged into your pc so you can adb to it if something goes wrong.
use the system checker BEFORE you reboot to make sure that the ROM installed (unlesss you are using the redpill rom). in the case of the redpill rom, it will check for a complete install. 200 something megabytes means a complete install.

if for some reason the ROM does not install put on the nandroid.

best of luck! if you have any questions, pm me, google chat me, post here, etc.

Manual root M130
Accidental hardkey reset

how do I stop this casio commando from bootlooping

TL;DR Is it possible to restore this phone from loop

adb wait-for-device...... daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 x x daemoin started succeesuss fully x......... now what?

I am sure there has got to be a way to restore this back to origanal since debuggin is enable???? Anybody....? just saying pointers would be helpful

after adb wait-for-device type adb reboot recovery
then you can restore a nandroid or put on a new rom

yeah you can restore someone else's nandroid. on my onedrive I have zip files in the images folder, they are just nandroids that I make. you can download the nandorids here. Commando->images
