Hi, need some advice if you can help.
I bought my wife a s/h wildfire that was unlocked from vodaphone. She has a T-Mobile sim in but unable to use internet or send picture messages when away from wifi.
Been to T-mobile shop twice and they manually typed in the settings, but today the guy said it wasn't possible to overwrite the vodaphone software
these quotes are what the advertisement said about the phone;
" It's also fully rooted, with a fresh install of android 2.2.1"
"The phone above is fully rooted (no limitations on which software you can install / which version of android you can use) and has an updated version of android (rom) installed (version 2.2 instead of version 2.1), with all the vodafone branding removed (so should run a bit faster)."
Am i missing something here ? is there anything else i can do to get it fully working ?

I got some advice from elsewhere and all sorted now. I upgraded to 2.3.3 from 2.2.1 using
