Help NO internet Symbol H or E

It's generally a good idea to carry out a factory reset after an upgrade. You could try clearing the system cache first as that may help
 
this is here i have enabled data and using it u can check it

Thanks. Can you do a screen shot with the notification shade up, so we can see the bar at the top. I do see you have the dual sim model and that each sim is showing on that screen shot you have there. Although, I'm not familiar with the R that is showing. I know what H, H+, E, 3G, LTE, 4G, etc are, but not R.

Edit: NM, I just looked it up, and apparently the R stands for roaming.
 
yah R stands for roaming i am in roaming now and i am sharing a screenshot as u said

Well, yeah, so for some reason you are roaming. Are you saying that before the lollipop update you didn't roam? Without further info we can't really help too well.
 
I'm sorry then I guess I don't understand what your problem is. If you were roaming on KitKat and you're roaming now, I don't see a difference.
 
i mean to say there is nothing about the R in the indication i need to know why it is not showing me the data connectivity symbols H or E like that


By the way do u know what is AOSP luncher
 
Well, I think that is something you'll have to find out from your service provider. Only they can tell you why you are roaming.
 
i am in roaming because i am in other state for that reason is ts showing R and it is perfect the problem only about data symbols

and i have asked you something about AOSP ??/

A friend of mine using a MTNL sim (for data only) from Mumbai recently went to AP his sim latched on to BSNL automatically and except for the ‘R’ he too did not have any sign but his net was working just fine. He is now back on home turf & his phone displays either ‘E’ or ‘H’
 
As you are roaming it can only display one symbol at a time. I should wait till you are back on home soil and not roaming to check symbol.
This was the same on KitKat before update so not issue with lollipop.

When you faced this problem next time, then just then on airplane mood and then turn off again. It may work. If not work restart your device. It must work. Best of your luck. (^.^)
 
I had kitkat. In kitkat, both E/H and R used to come when in roaming. After updating to Lollipop, am not getting the internet symbol. Another friend of mine also uses Nexus. She gets both E and R at the same time. Any solutions?
