Hi my dad just bought an ASUS tablet. Everything was working fine. I showed him how to connect to a WiFi Network, and after the tablet reconnected to my WiFi, internet stopped working. The tablet says that it's connected and also the tablet has a IP adress, so I don't know what's wrong. Please help. Sory for my bad English.

I would first try going to your wifi settings and forgetting all networks. Reboot the tablet and then re-enter the wifi password. Sometimes settings can conflict with each other.

I tried all of these solutions about 5 times, but the internet is not working. The browser always shows this error: Connection refused. And if I run the ping command from the terminal emulator, I get no error, the ping is working fine. Maybe the browser/apps have no permission to Access the internet?

Maybe. Are there any firewall apps installed? Of so check the settings.

In the WiFi settings make sure that the "use proxy" setting is unticked.

What android version is the tablet running?

Call your cable company and have them reset the router for you

I would check if the tablet can connect to another Wi-Fi network to establish if it's the device or the network at fault.

You could also look in
Menu
Settings
Apps
Find the browser you are using
Check that full internet access is listed under permissions
(I think that is there in 5.0.2, it is in 5.1)

I took a little bit similar problems in recent years. I do not understand, could this be due to the fact that I started using proxy servers (provider is advanced.name if it matters), or is not in any way related?

If it shows you have connected to your network, but have no internet access, it's most likely a DNS issue.
