no internet

[Android Question]

My android phone internet works fine but my tablet does not connect...never has to my internet....but does connect fine to my neighbours....it says IP address unavailable.....is this the problem....when we push connect...nothing happens?!!! Help please! :-/

It is not exactly clear what you are asking. Are you saying that you cannot connect to your home internet service with your tablet but you can with your phone? Or are you trying to connect your tablet to your phone to use the phone's internet connection? This would be referred to as using your phone as a "wifi hotspot". Not all phones support that, and most carriers require you to pay an additional fee for that ability.

You don't mention what type of phone it is either so its not possible to give you an answer. If you could post back clarifying your question and listing the devices and services you have, someone will be able to answer you.
